@Ttimer: if you actually want to be pedantic when someone gives a massive compliment, at least be right about it. While vikings are known for raiding, our ancestors were predominantly traders, explorers and farmers. Raiding was simply an opportunistic way to acquire inventory, and actually not that frequently done. Their vast, transcontinental trade networks actually laid the groundwork for the medieval European economy with both silver, slave and regular goods. But yeah, Mille is a bad ass Viking.

@skimons: Oslo is quite unique. You can take the subway from the city center and not go off until you’re in the forest. True story. On both sides of the city, the subway literally extends until it’s outside of the city and on top of the hills surrounding the town, with the last station being after you’ve left living areas. And from both sides of the city, the trails then go on for miles. And miles.
