Pinkbike Primer: Whistler is Back for the Fourth Round of the 2022 EWS
EWS is plenty cool! But the media coverage is getting worse and worse. Videos and course previews from EWS needs to be better up front, as well as as better video coverage from the races. But also bike media like Pinkbike should really step up their game again. Where are all the cool tech from the pits and bike checks? Enduro bikes are pretty close to what people actually ride, and the tech news from the enduro races are IMO more interesting and relevant than from other disciplines. So why is the media coverage getting worse and worse?

First Look: Rocky Mountain Updates Altitude & Instinct Powerplay Models with Dyname 4.0 motor
Note that the actual seat angel and the virtual seat angle are almost the same, so the seat travels less backwards as you rais it than a lot of other designs: Many bikes have a slack actual seat angle, but achieves a steep virtual seat angle by offseting the crank reawards from the seat tube. (Most seats will be further back when seat is above stack hight...)

First Look: SRAM's New GX Drivetrain Offers 520% Range
Hmmm. The derailleur gets improved clutch and springs, revised geometry (based on the smooth shifting of the XO1 AXS) and the whole group receives an overall nicer finishing - for the same price! Then they give you the choice between two cassettes. And the only thing people do is whining about the cassette option they don't want...
