Just getting into downhill/freeride, used to cross country ride a lot on the east coast. After moving to Portland in December '10, I thought it was time for a change and an upgrade in bikes.

May 25, 20151 of 4 Specialized Demo 8 Roam The Collective REDUCED
$1399 USDThe is 1 of 4 bikes that have the custom paint job from ROAM a film from the Collective. I know that Matt Hunter has one, there is one hanging up in one of the bike shops in Whistler and the other has been rumored to have been broken. It's a sweet bike and sad to see it go, but could be used by someone else with more time. Here is the rundown of parts on the bike:\
Frame: 2007 Specialized Demo 8, custom painted
Fork: 2007 Bomber 888RC2 (the last year that the forks were made in Europe. I just had it rebuilt and have only one ride on the fresh rebuild)
Rear shock: Manitou Revox
Stem: Function stem (the look and feel of the stem has been great)
Brakes: Formula The One (freshly bled and ready to roll)
Handle bars: Gold Atlas bars 31.8mm
Wheels: Atom Labs (just checked them out and are solid, no wobbles or hops)
Tires; Kenda Nevegal
Crank: 172.5mm Howitzer
Chain guide: Straightline
Rear derailleur: SRAM X-9
Shifter: SRAM X-7
Pedals: Twenty6
Seat post: Thompson
There are a few scrapes on the frame and I have tried to show them in the photo's. This has been a great build, but now that I don't have much time to ride it nowadays. This is an opportunity to have a great bike with some fantastic parts on it and have a piece of history by having one of only four bikes that have the ROAM collective paint jobs. If you need more photo's I would be happy to share them. Buys is responsible to pay for shipping as well.
Cheers

$575 USDI have a 2003 Kona King Kikapu up for sale. Some of the components are as follows:
Easton Ultralite Medium frame
'03 Marzochi Marathon S fork
Fox vanilla RL rear shock
700x1.57 coil
Avid mechanical disc brakes
Shimano XTR rear derailleur
Shimano XTR shifters front and rear (rear shifter spring sticks when shifting sometimes)
Shimano LX crank arms
Shimano LX front derailleur
Shimano clipless pedals (not sure which model)
Rhinolite rims with Shimano Deore hubs
Thompson seat post
Kujo DX 2.35" rear tire
Vapor 2.1" front tire
Azonic handlebars
Titec stem
I bought this brand new at the end of 2004. This has been serviced twice a year for almost 8 years. I ride a large, but with the frame being a Medium, its just too small. Because I haven't ridden the bike that much recently (maybe 10 times the last 4 years), it hurts the knee's, so it's time for it to go.If you have questions or need more photo's, please feel free to let me know. Buyer pays for dismantling and shipping to you. Local pickup is an option as well.

Paul Bas, Blackrock And The Boa System
Post Canyon is in the Hood River area and they have some sweet jump lines and good trails. If you do go to Post, be sure to review the map and do some research because there are a bunch of XC trails mixed in and there is nothing worse than hitting an XC trail with a DH bike!
You could spend days and days at Black Rock and still be stoked to ride. I love that place. The walk up is long, but totally worth it.
