8898 has decent adhesion/stretch but leaves a ton of residue when pulling up. Tesa 4288 is much better (black tape used by Industry Nine among others). Kapton tape is another decent option (bronze translucent tape used by Spank/Race Face).

I struggled with riding RX eyewear for a while trying to find something that stays put so I can stay in an aggressive position and not be looking through the top of the frame. Oakley Portal’s we’re the ticket and I’d imagine anything else with their Unobtainium nose piece will work just as well. I went full dad mode with transitions so I don’t need to carry an extra pair when the lights get turned on and they’ve been fantastic for the year I’ve had them. Dustin Klein has some decent recommendations for RX eyewear if you dig in his YT and Insta.

I was intrigued until the buried detail on Digit’s site that the BB is PF92 with a 30mm axle and the spindle is the main pivot axle as well. All 41mm OD/30mm ID bearings are compromised designs that have around half the load rating and durability of standard BB 6805/6806 bearings (with the exception of BBInfinite 4030 bearings). Shimano specifically designed BB86 to exclude any reasonable off the shelf bearing options for 30mm spindles. Based on this BB/pivot design decision alone, I would not trust the reliability of the custom shock.

Likely 30% glass fiber … that’s the minimum standard for high impact resistance. There’s likely a molding mark that reads PA66 GFxx on the pedal where xx is the glass fiber percentage.
