The Pinkbike Podcast: When to Give In and Take Your Bike to a Mechanic, and Should Racing Stay "Amateur"?

From working at a shop I would say a lot of people should be honest with themselves and take their bike in sooner. In a lot of cases they'd save themselves a lot of money instead of paying us to undo a problem they've created before fixing the original issue. A good shop will never talk down to you, will work with you to fix a problem, and will typically give you advice on how to approach things in the future. If you're not happy, go elsewhere. We're also honestly so busy in summer doing big repairs that we'd prefer people know how to do a lot of the little stuff anyway. Also, buy a torque wrench and learn how to use it. Stripped bolts are annoying but we can deal with them, unreasonably loose headstems however are plain terrifying.

Swagman Announces Summit Vertical Rack

I know this will be an unpopular opinion and I'm ready to be downvoted to the 9th underworld, but why does so much marketing for mountain bike products have to be intrinsically linked with alcohol? Seems like every product release from smaller brands has to have at least one photo that continues the trend that no ride is complete without a beer. I get that this is true for a lot of people, but it isn't true for everyone, and it adds nothing to the promotion of the product. The video got it right, shots of people riding and using the rack. Take the rack and the bikes out of the photos in the article and not much changes, some people went for a drive and cracked a beer.

Spotted: Vali Höll's Unreleased YT Tues is Idler-Equipped

Ok in this instance I suppose I have to correct myself, it seems like the original photo on instagram was of medium quality but dimly lit and PB shouted ENHANCE at it to try to bring out some of the details.
