Kali’s New Kru Full Face Helmet Has a Titanium Chin Bar, & It Looks... Different
Far better than an open face and a step in the right direction for sure. I laugh at all the Pinkbike nay sayers. Probably complain about Index Shifting vs. a straight cable pull back in 1985. Progress has it's critics

One Less Battery: Fox's E-Optimized Transfer Neo Dropper Hardwires Directly Into an E-Bike
Totally agree. Not really needed when you find the One Up delivers ultra quick performance and when found on sale it's not much more than a 8000 actuation service.

The Death Of Derailleurs? Avinox Announces Motor "Gearbox" - Eurobike 2026
Innovation in analogue mountain biking seems to be lagging, and without all of the ebike stuff, what does PB have to report on? Sad but true.

Amflow's €3,499 TL Carbon Could Be the E-Bike the Industry Didn't Know It Needed
You are 1000% correct. Amflow is looking to disrupt the market, not contribute. Specialized, while not perfect, has and will do more moving forward than Amflow will ever look or desire to do. Typical Chinese thing is to copy, build to the least standards of long term viability, all while polluting the environment. Just a fact guys.

Specialized Is Trying to Make E-Bike Overlanding a Thing
Specialized could release a cure for cancer and "wow" what will the Pinkbike community do to rip on them for the cure? Why doesn't everyone relax just a bit and if someone wants to add a rack to their bike for some adventuring then let them, why be so offended?!? Last time I checked, Specialized builds bikes that you're are not forced to buy, so it's a choice thing.. go chill out. It's a really well done advertisement and the guys who ride those bikes are Specialized are actually pretty cool people just trying to make a living doing what they love to do the most... Ride Bikes, and yes, even adventure bike. If all you haters just relaxed and tried smiling and not taking everything as an offense to your chosen "we only like pedal bikes" crowd. Without innovation, you would not be enjoying your current e-bike, pedal bike, transport bike, gravel bike, unicycle for good sake. Not sure how many of haters are still riding your circa 1985 Schwinn??

Specialized Releases Alloy Levo R - Shaves $2,000 Off the Price Tag
Specialized can charge whatever they want, and provide any features they deem necessary, and spec them out with what they determine will sell. Why all the haters? Last time I checked, Specialized has done a pretty good job supporting their bikes. Pretty good is not perfect, but last I checked they did not go out of business (YT and many others), have potential disastrours batteries (Canyon), change their motors (Forestal), and the list goes on. We may not love the look of the Levo 4, but chances are, you have a local Specialized dealer that can take your bike in and fix it. Again, not perfect but sure does beat getting a replacement part in the mail then wondering if you put it in correctly on a bike potentially going 35mph down a hill. This whole conversation comes down to the freedom to choose what you want to, and please, keep all the "it looks ugly" stuff to yourself. I like having a marketplace where choice is key, and support is king. I just think this turns into a rant for no apparent reason.

Field Test Challenges: Which eMTB Jumps, Corners, Climbs, & Descends the Best?
While I admire the testing, there are just too many variables that come along with the individual rider, plus the suspension can cause so many issues with testing. I wish they had a suspension professional set up their bike so that we are truly on top of this challenge. If one fork is set up incorrectly then it will ride like crap, and that's my point. Like very much that they do this testing, just not sure if the final results will truly give us the best ebike.

Ibis Announces New Ripmo AF & Ripley AF Complete Bikes
Are we really excited by a $3600.00 AF mid 30lb Deore equipped bike or 4k bike with Wired Transmission? words like "value" and "top of my list"... Kudos to Ibis for putting together some nice geo numbers, but let's face it, the bike is heavy, and the parts list is ok at best. After CA tax this thing will be $3850 and like $4400 for the transmission equipped bike. It does weight a lot and you will want to change out parts, so thank you Ibis. Well done.
