This thing (we used the MacRide) gave our Family so many Options, we shared memories with our little one and could ride all together. The strider was also in heavy use.
Therefore I would say they still can learn, basics, AS our little one jumped in His First proper bike with No fear and full of joy.
These seats are a great was to spend time in the saddle with your Kids. Worth every Penny
