Aren't XMC1200 close to $3k? Not really a good comparison

Review: Enve AM30 Carbon Wheels
@kdiff: I am now using the full CB on one bike and that DT Swiss with the zip on another. I can tell you that having that Zip on the front is phenomenal. If I could swing it I would buy another CB rear for that bike and switch out the DT Swiss but it's a pretty good setup for now. If you do go the route you mentioned I think you would be very impressed.

Review: Enve AM30 Carbon Wheels
@hamncheez: I'm pretty sure they are double wall. The front CB it's supposed to be a little more compliant. It's a little wider, they use less spokes and a lighter tension than the rear CB.

Review: Enve AM30 Carbon Wheels
I purchased just the front Zip and have mated it to the CB Synthesis and SC Reserve rear and I found that either of those is a great match. Right now I'm using the Zip on the Front and DT Swiss XM481 in the rear (Super Boost) and so far so good.

Video: Giant's New Trance X Advanced Pro 29 - First Look
@enduroFactory: Isn't the only reason it's slacker is because they put a 170mm fork on it? I think they only did that to try to differentiate it and make a bigger gap with the Trance X...

Why Do Luxury Brands Keep Producing Crappy Mountain Bikes?
I kind of miss the look of those older Maxxis Minions on that Honda. Kinda wish they would also offer throwback graphics, something less flashy, as an alternative.

New Tools, Pumps & Tire Repair Kits From Lezyne - Across the Pond Beaver
@KavuRider: I love the Wolftooth one, I have it as well but having the ability to true a rotor (The wolftooth one can help in a pinch but not ideal) makes the Lezyne one that much better.

First Ride: Privateer's New 141 Trail Bike - Across The Pond Beaver
@swansejack22: You must be from southern MN. I know we don't have mountains but I ride Piedmont, Spirit and a lot of the northern trails almost every weekend and I have to disagree with your statement about anti-gnarly trails. I ride a Ripmo as my all day bike in the metro and it's great for Leb and Battle Creek. However, that bike wasn't cutting it for BOB & DM at Piedmont and now I'm rolling a new Wreckoning and if feels perfect for there. We don't have the craziest trails but we have stuff to pucker you up.
