I agree with you spoiledgoods, but this isn't very revolutionary. You could just use a hollow starnut, and if you're worried about the 4 grams that might add to your bike you can just drill a hole in your stem cap like they have done. This "whip cap" isn't anything to be excited about.

that's really not that exciting at all, just buy a star nut and drill it out yourself and you'll save like 6 bucks haha

THats what i did, but it cost me 10 bones in drill bits, star nuts are effing hard.

nato, are you concerned about housing abrasion? The gravity product apparently comes with a plastic bushing to prevent it. I don't know how it would fit in there but I'm worried about wearing away the brake housing especially against the star fangled nut after drilling it out. Do you see signs of wear?

Slight rub but nothing in serious in over two seasons of use. if you are worried about it then wrap the brake line in a bit of tape before you thread it through. After you drill the hole be sure to file down any sharp edges. Use the drill bit in the drill to round the edges off of the hole. ie drill the hole in line with the brake line so there are no sharp corners.

i dont see a purpose because if you were that into bar spins and tail whips you wouldnt have a front brake

 Are you joking?
A ton of riders use from and back brakes. Your thinking more specifically dirt jump, think of slopestyle.
