i hope in 10 years we all gonna ride with wireless disc brakes, so you don't have to worry about cables

For shifting yes, but people like to keep their braking reliable.
If it fails do you want it to lock on or off? See it's not exactly a great idea.
But hey, who would have thought wireless dropper posts would be a thing.
I think he's referring to that big hole they cut into the rear suspension triangle,
luckily it's not a production bike.
