pretty good run, i actually was two seconds slower than you with a broken rear brake and i got like 4rth in my class, which was ironically beginner 17 and under...sand baggers..

It was under recall. Its an air fork and the air pressure gets out of the chamber and into the tube causing vacum. This holds the fork down around 5-6 inches and makes it hella stiff. Happened at shastarama too. Didnt learn to temporarily fix it until after the races. It tries to shoot the damper rod apart like a gun when you take it apart, awesome. But marzocchi hooked it up with a fix kit.
