pinkbike doesn't host hd very well. These cameras look amazing through sites like vimeo. I hope to be picking one up soon.

Huh, I thought the newer GoPro had 24p framerates as well.
I know the 7D is 24p, honestly I know the 7D image looks supurb, but when it boils down to actually using it for video in the field, I don't know. Studio work (like this) is fine, but when you have to focus on the fly for example you don't have peaking, and no viewfinder, and zooming is chunky due to having to do it by hand.
Tech aside, enjoy the new toys! I just got a HMC40, meh, it's alright, but good for my uses.

Stu,
The 7D is a work horse, but i agree about the manual zoom, and peaking filter. It does however have a live view finder for both taking photos, and video, both are displayed on the 3" LCD screen. So far im really pleased with it, but i can see where your coming from.
We got a HPX170 also that kills it, so were stoked on that!

"We" as in your team for all your video production/pics for product reviews/pinkbike account managing you (or you guys) do or it's all you solo? Just curious.
P2 is the way to go, 7D for da portability 100% + real picture capability.

ok, I have a GoPro Wide right now, very satisfied with it, but I want better quality, I want a HD ! And since I you now can buy one from the pinkbike shop Im just wondering, whats the difference between the US version and the canadian version ? I live in sweden, europe, where PAL is the standard, Does both US and Canadian version only supports NTSC or what ?

Hey spoiledgoods, I just bought my GoPro, for the scenes with the camera on your hood and outside of your car, did you use the adhesive mounts or the suction? Also can you reuse the adhesive mounts?
