if its a sealed bearing you might of lost a little washer that holds a certain part of the bearring and the bold its rubbing against the whole thing but if if its unsealed the cups that hold the bearing could be squished

might have it done up too tight which is crushing the cones, or you have done up the cones up tooo tight. It is doesn't have cones and its cartridge bearings then check again if its too tight.
