awesome vid dude. really brings back some great memories from the last 2 times ive been there. going again this year for a month. and i completely agree, the best tracks are the secret ones. a contender though is the stuff at morgins in switzerland. definitely worth the trek over there for a day.

makes me miss summer a lot man, wondering whether i should save my pennies and go back this summer, or blow a lot of money on 3 weeks in whistler!
- + 1
jeeez thats a tough decision. first time ive heard someone say "save money and go to France" most people complain at how expensive it is. i have to say whistler would be the option i would go for. money is meant to be spent eh

haha, it's not as if i can afford either easily, but if the final stage of my applcation goes to plan, in september i'll start my royal marines YO training, so a final riding trip before i start is in order as a reward haha, and i'll dip a big fist into my savings and blow it on a 3 week/month trip to whistler.

im from stellenbosch 30 miles from capetown(tokai)
but yeah man hit capetown(tokai), somerset west (spanish farm, its in MADE, the Neetling section) and then all the track in Stellenbosch (g-spot, jonkershoek old and new ect ect.), (got 5 mountains surrounding it, the 1998 worldcup was held there).
here is a video of a spot my friend made called the g-spot (its more for hardtails and pretty flat but super fast and hard packed.

sick man, that track looks fun to shred on a HT. ive seen the other places on pinkbike too. How does your job let you go between the UK and SA? just out of interest.
I may take that offer up within the next few years if i have some money left, being a student makes me poor haha. i have promised myself to go there for sure. you think youll be down for the worldcup?

no well i have to find a new job out there, thinking of starting liitle mountain bike adventure company for people who want to come and ride in SA, basicly pick people up from the airport amd cover everything from there, food , uplifts, tour up the east coast , hitting multiple spots along the way.
but yeah your welcome to be one of the trail runs.
ill miss the worlcup tough,

ahh sick man, tourism is a big part of SAs economy isnt it? i have a few friends who have been so yeah i think a mountain biking company would work well! that would be great, i hope to come down for a longer period of time too just so i can chill out and live somewhere abit different from home so getting a small job may be required for that

Im not sure about a name "Ride SA" does the job. or you could use a funky Afrikaans saying that would be catchy for brits What names you got so far?
