My crash back in '05 during a race. Got a bit front heavy on the landing and taco'd the front wheel, let this be a lesson to you kids ;)

 A bent rim just makes sense if you take into account what the accident was like. The guy lost control over his bike way before the front wheel got stuck in that rut, and he was leaning so onto the front the front end. What I see is a front wheel hitting a root sideways and not so more head on. Maybe another rims, but the guy's been most unlucky.
