pgfreerider9 I have a question, a buddy of mine is thinking of purchaseing one of those t2i cameras. Are you able to control the shutter speed? Like you can select 1/48th of a second when in 24p mode, and 1/120th of a second for 60p mode (for slow motion)? He really wants to have natural motion blur, he noticed with some DSLRs he cannot control the shutter which results in the super high strobe effect, which works for bike videos, but he does different projects.

Color correcting is about fixing your footage, like if something was over-saturated or the contrast was slightly off, or the white balance was off so your footage looks to blue or something. It's better not to make mistakes like that while shooting, but if and when those mistakes are made, correcting footage can mean the difference between usable and unusable. Oh and dialed video by the way

How do you do color correction? I've been shooting vids in dark woods on a bad camera. the trails look awesome through my own eyes, but the camera makes it look horrible. Any tips?
