A self filmed video of me riding the hills of San Clemente and the streets of Capistrano Beach. All done on my GoPro HD. The song is by Santigold "Starstruck".

Nice man.... Very nice man lol

How do you manual like that?
I can go far ages sitting down as soon as i stand up i either flip it or the front end drops.

I can keep it up for a lil while then find myself becoming unballanced.
Did you start by sitting down then working your way onto your to standing up over time? Or did you just start by trying to stand up straight away?

Thanks

-Paul

Hey what's up Paul. I kind of explained it in a comment above, but ya I started by learning to do wheelies sitting down and then learned how to manual standing. It's all about riding that balancing point and shifting your weight with your hips back and forth. I recommend practicing manualing between the dips in the sidewalk just so you can get use to pumping your bike down and hitting that perfect spot over your bike to ride that balanced point. That's how I learned how to so I hope that helps! -Johnny

Been out this morining [bloody freezing lol]
That thing you said about the dips in the sidewalk [like were drive ways are] is probably the best advice iv ever had.
I was only out for about half an hour as i just went to the shops, But were i live everyone has a garage so its really handy having all those dips. I could feel exactly were i needed to place myself after about 3-5 dips, i just gotta get used to keep pumping my legs when stood up now.

Thanks again mate great advice.... you should be an instructor or something lol.

Hey that's good to hear man! I'm glad I could help. Ya I just started doing that two years ago and that's basically how I learned how to lol. Just keep your knees bent and one finger on the back brake and you should be good! Just hit me up if you ever need more help.

Sick video man. Hey how did you get so good at manuals? I keep practicing but my balance is still terrible. Any tips?

Thanks! How've you been Austin? I started with just learning how to ride that balancing point while doing wheelies and tapping the rear brake when necessary. Then start doing it with manuals, but it's more about pumping your legs kinda to ride that balance point. Well I think that's how I do it? lol

Just kidding, I did it through my iMovie on my mac. It's really just a still shot, but it's zooming in and out on the image.
