yeah i know, i'd been thinking about a straight one. actually made one, but i realised that if i hit a tree or something i'de more than likely break my neck lol. so spinning and retractable solves all the safety issues 
feels proper wierd riding, the rig is a bit heavy too. but yeah definitely only for use on wide tracks lol.

I always feel awkward doing my little 'bike checks' in the middle of the day where I just pedal around for 40 second and people are around then go back in the garage, but you must've felt REAL silly with that camera rig!
the results turned out pretty good IMO so was worth it lol 
I've been thinking about trying to get a "looking back" sort of view going on, but never thought about the spin thing.
How does it feel whilst riding? I'd imagine a bit sketchy though tight tracks.
Would love to see it action down a trail!
