I agree they're trendy. Not only because I cannot do them, but because if you give any kid a foam pit and 2 or less hours thats the first trick their going to try.

Thats not true at all, I had been doing these before in a foam pit but never got the courage to try it, and for alot of kids, ive noticed that theyre even scarred to try them. Even before I tried backflips I was trying flatspins and many other tricks. Its not always the first trick people try.

This is really quite a stupid debate because its unsolvable, there no statistics or evidence to back up anyones point but there own opinion. But dicers point does somewhat sums it up. If you call backflips trendy, then so is every trick.

Trendy isn't a good word to describe a trick. Popular is a better word, and if a trick is popular, that's not a bad thing. Flips have become a lot more popular because of the foam and resi, but so have 360's, bars, whips, NFC's and tucks... so if you don't want to be "trendy" you can't do any tricks.
