you can but its cheaper to hire for a week as you need site delivery, site insurance (against machine damage) and extra fuel
expect to pay GBP£600 a week from a commerical hirer, and you also need someone to drive the machine
I spent months driving a similar machine on the LDJ project in East London so have some experience, the first few days at Esher X have been 'rusty' but its all come back and I am making much better transitional moves and shapes now!

the blade is the only tool to use in wet conditions as you can put the full weight (5 tonne) of the machine behind it...and the clay cannot stick so easily
