Excellent trails, sweeet riding, and exceptional filming and post processing! If this isn't VOD, I'll make my own sandwich.

Awesome vid, quality of the filming is sensational. Stupid question but as I don't use a DSLR for video (just a GoPro at the mo), what setting did you use on your 7D to get such great depth of field. Having used a 7D before just once it seemed impossible to get so much in focus. Great choice of track as well, worked well with the video.

ok so to get more in focus you have to close down the aperture, which is the 'f-stop'. The higher the number the more that is in focus, the lens I had in this video could only go as low as f-3.5, at that aperture setting there is already a good amount in focus, if I could put the f-stop down to 2 then that would be nice and I would have a shorter depth of field, and I wouldn't have to raise the ISO setting so much just to get it bright enough (raising the ISO makes the image more grainy).
So ya filming at f-3.5 when it was out wide gives a pretty good deal in focus and if I could make it like 1.8 or 2 then it would be a shorter depth of field and less in focus. and if I put it up to like f-8 then there is even more in focus.

that was awesome ! just shows you really don't need a full on dh bike for like 99% of the trails
but why does he have an x fusion sticker on his car if he's running argyles ?
