Live To Ride - Testing the new camera

 Aha yeah man do it! The camera body itself is excellent, cant fault it to be honest, still toying around with wether to shoot at 50 frames per second or 25, the obvious choice is 50 but then its only 720p not 1080. The lens that comes with the camera is 'alright' it was hard filming some of this because when you want a close up you really have to go close to the track and zoom fully in (which isnt very far) so that got a lil annoying cause its not how im used to filming. However yeah, its great so far I cant see any draw backs

 What is the stock lens you have?

 Dude give us a shout if you wanna borrow one of mine lens if your local

 shoot at 60 fps 720p, changing the ntsc / pal gives you 29.97 and 60 fps options

 shoot in 25p for everything, then 50p for shots that you know you will want to slow down, don't shoot 60p/50p all the time, the footage doesn't look nice to the eye when not slowed down.

 Yeah good call Gee, and Dunc, filming on NTSC means that the video wont play on british TV's/DVD players

re TV and dvd players, 90% of TVs nowadays will play raw ntsc footage, but i suppose it should technically be PAL.. i guess i'm never in the position where my footage is going to end up on TV
