hmmmm, i got storyteller, so ill play around with it, and we were thinking about putting some small piece of make-shift visor outta plastic and put it over the mic so the wind grazes over it. Ill play aorund with it and get it set-up for next season. Thanks!

I know storyteller has tons of video settings but not sure about the audio. And that sounds like a good idea. Anything to block the wind from directly flowing into the mic will probably help. No problem! Glad I could help.

How do you manage to cut out all that wind in the video? My Contour HD has a bad problem where the wind noise is just insane, and not buffered out at all.

I haven't done anything to my contour. It is the GPS though. If you wanted you could extract the audio on a video editing software on your computer. I'm not sure if you have story teller downloaded on your computer but if you do you might be able to change the sound settings on your camera with it. Not sure about that one though. And I think that if you put a tiny piece of duct tape over the mic hole that might help eliminate some noise. It would be interesting to see if that worked. Wouldn't hurt anything and it just might work.

how does the camera mount to your helmet? can it be attached to open face helmets too?

There are lots of mounts from Contour. This is a goggle mount I was using. Slides onto your goggle strap. There are adhesive mounts and different straps as well that you could use on an open face helmet. They have a bar mount too. Check out their website to look at all of them. Contour is a great camera! I had it on low quality setting in this video and it's still alright quality. High quality is amazing. Hope this helps.
