The video camera wasn't invented until the late 70's, and wasn't in practical use until the 80's. Before that, film camera's were first introduced in the mid 1800's. Sound wasn't added to films until the mid 1920's. This recording took place in 1899 and 1901. It was recorded onto modern video by simply placing a video camera in front of a motion picture screen where it was played by a film projector. Now you know.
