Damn bro!!! I hate to see that and trust me I can feel your pain. I seperated my shoulder about 1 1/2 years ago. Small tabletop jump and being back on a full suspension bike. Rear suspension unloaded and flipped me OTB from about 8 feet. Straight to my head and shoulder (lucky I was wearing my 661 full face) The healing sucks but makes you more thankful for the chance to ride when you heal. Get well soon and RIDE ON!!!
Oh yeah. Im gonna miss the videos while your out too.

Thank you man!
Im glad you like my little videos!
I remember you saying you separated your shoulder around when you first got your SS!
Man the pain is horrendous.
I have no movement at all and have to keep her tied up so the ligaments heal up to the bone properly.
Im sure you did too.
I can feel little bone fragments floating inside, hahahahaha
It not good but like you said I will be very thankful to get out and jump again.

I didnt really follow the rules the doctor told me to. I was back at work the next day and hanging TV's above fireplaces the first week. Plus he told me to stay off the bike for 3-4 months and I was riding the skatepark in 3-4 weeks. Probably why is still gives me trouble 1 1/2 later. Oh well, you know how us bike guys are... impatient and smarter than the doctor (or so we think)

hhahhahahhahahhahha
your totally right man!
We have to work and do what we know best.
Im sure I too will be back on the bike very soon!
Im thinking about strapping my arm really tight and doing some one handed riding!
I will take it easy and try to heal this bone and shoulder ligaments to their full potential.
Its saturday and instead of riding Im having a some beer with lunch to help the pain, hahahahha

Aww man such a bummer to hear about the crash Niko! Sending healing vibes your way!
& it looked like a fast ride, but crashing is an unfortunate reminder that we're only human and sometimes we need a wake up call. Although you and I both know how shoulders go, after separation you need to slowly regain full movement and strength, because even after that you are still prone to re-injury. Hell, I've dislocated my shoulder while sleeping! Crazy stuff...
anyways..
HealOn! then RideOn!

Thank you Dom!
The shoulder is crazy how it seems great and then just pops out.
I had 8 dislocations in 2010 and my last was in October of 2010.
So, through a little patients and holing back on jumps and drops I was doing good.
But this crash got the best of me!
I will take it easy to shred another day!
Thank you for your diligent support from another loose Humeral Head!
RideOn bro!

track looked fun! shame you crashed, hope you have a speedy recovery and get on the bike soon!
hate to see people affected by crashing, but i guess its part of the sport.
but otherwise it looked like you were flying down that trail

You will be stronger than ever when you come back. Heal up fast!
I have to pull out some old picks but I bought GT IDrive the year it came out. It was neon green and black.. Rode it a few times in the Rockies but I bit to heavy so I traded it in for I believe 2003 IDrive 7000 red and silver in color. Sweet bike. Trippy to see the old GT back in action.
Get well soon!

hahahaah
Thats awesome buddy!
The GT was iconic for me back in the day.
I built her up as its a great bike and I bought some new parts for my Rune giving me extra parts for to build the GT.
My plan is to take it to Cali my next time out so I have a nice bike there to ride.
The GT is more a big XC bike so it should be good for around town in California!
My bike is a 2002 GT and it came in my color Orange on Grey and the other was a Sliver on hot rod red.
You might have the 2002.
The bike is great but I would love a Tracer instead! hhahhahahhahaha

Ouch, heal fast & heal well. Like you wrote above, beer/lunch + scenery helps in the meanwhile.
I'm nursing a slow-recovering sprained left shoulder (nothing broken) & seeing PT - just have to be careful when putting a shirt or backpack on or picking up kids.
Take a good care, Niko!

Thank you niko!
The FSR is a killer bike and so is the I drive.

Hey bro is quite normal! Between Niko, we share a little more than two complete strangers is not it ;-) At the time it was the two bikes that were my FSR of 1998 was then the mountain bike of the year! It helps to choose ;-) The ride that I have dedicated worked! It is on the roads very "XC" I took my heavy BigHit, but what a trip! I would put some pictures, although I already have this place in previous years, is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea named Porquerolles ... How long are you locked my friend? Take good care of you, I will follow your prompt and speedy recovery! Niko soon :-) ;-) Niko :-)

The best seasons are going to be sitting and enjoying the natural scenery.
Im immobile at the moment and cant even pick my nose, ahhahaha
I keeping her in the sling and chest band for a good while to let it heal properly this time.
If so the doctors say surgery is unnecessary.
Also when Im back Im going to get a shoulder support that is for athletes who have suffered from a dislocation.
I have been looking into them and they seem great.
I don't know why I haven't thought of it before.

There are a few guys here who have had the supports made.I have tried a off the shelf model and it works but restricts your movement.
Take the time to heal mate as you have many years of quality riding yet.
Good luck picking your nose mate.I just hope you can wipe your bum ok still...that could be messy hahahahahahaha

not yet, go pro ain't feeling good and i'm more concentrating on just having fun without bothering with shooting :p we did race once and we were five friends and we took the 5 top spot, was awesome. i got vacation ahead and we have a more serious filming project again, with 4 or 5 riders. we are going to work hard on it in the following weeks and get a 3 or 4 minutes good quality video! i'll let you know when it's done! (p.s. we built massive jumps on our local spot, it's going to be good
)

I know you're going to ride better when healed
