ya we are using a homemade one right now but i wasnt riding in armor and a jersey so the strap is a bit too loose i probably should have thought to tighten it. thanks!

no padding ??? skin is not plastic pads ....

You don't need protection to ride downhill... honestly it's just overkill

ya its quite useful for when you fall...but i like the feeling of just riding without it... its so much more free.
