The Larock Gee Atherton vid was the most overrated Video of the Month ever- and now this? I'd rather watch Eastenders.

Cam Zink on a walmart bike...at rampage and joyride...?
  • + 1
am i the only one that thinks that the dh frame (on the facebook page) looks like a sleak yakuza with a tapered head tube?
  • + 2

I cant hate on the company, i can understand their goal.
  • + 0
that bike isnt walmart... they've gone into high end bikes now. hes not gonna break it.. the frame is proto
  • + 3
X-fusion used to be walmart too... so what if hyper is an "affordable" brand... whos to say they can't make a decent frame?
  • + 4
 Wtf Xfusion was walmart?
  • + 2
If I remember correctly, I don't have any correspondence in which to back my statement, but I remember CLEARLY having cheap ass x-fusion forks back in the day on my walmart bike... and yeah, I also agree with the statement in the video that if it wasn't for boxstore brands, alot of us never would have found our passion for biking b/c the good stuff is insanely priced if you don't like it.

did anyone in the entire video get a strike?
  • + 10
From Corsair to evil and now to Hyper in 2/3 years , thats got to be some record.
  • + 4
hopkins is a sponsor changing champion as well!
  • + 7
the company is basically like mongoose...they sell highend bikes and walmart bikes. they just get a bad name because they sell walmart bikes.
  • + 6
EC said he consulting for their "high end" mtb division. They got the money/resources to probably make some great frames. Along with zinks sponsors, it should be good
  • + 1
Finally, SOMEONE gets it. Department store bikes + Deep pockets and plenty of resources....
  • + 6
Looks like a Corsair Konig with Hyper stickers! Love to buy a slope style bike at Wallyworld!
  • + 2
good for you zink! having a walmart kinda bike is reeally weird...cant believe like giant trek specialized didnt pick him up or something he has always kinda been on those odd bikes i guess you could say? haha
  • + 2

whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooah that bowling alleys sooooo siiiiick.
  • + 3
i never thought that cam zing would go to his local wall mart to buy a bike
  • + 2
His town is so small it doesn't have a wall mart
  • + 2
Over ten-thousand comments and just over fifty favorites. That really shows you how stoked everyone is for Cams new signing...
  • + 1
You guys really didn't listen to EC talking right? The design of the bike was open to everyone and EC pablo and Zink decided they would use it under Hyper name because they had the money and the perfect rider for it.
  • + 2
Linking the sound of "brand development" here, Hyper will be a company to watch I reckon!
  • + 3
all i noticed was levels playing on the projector in the background.
  • + 0
this^^ lol im like hai its avicii
  • + 3
One things for sure, they aren't good at bowling.
  • + 3
Not many favs on this larock video...
  • + 2
when or doubt this guy will make it happen with any company he rides for.
  • + 3
 walmart? wtf
  • + 5
Not a Walmart bike. The company simply sells cheap bikes at Walmart. Christ.
  • + 2
He changes sponsors like I change my underwear.
  • + 1
 Frame***
  • + 1
At least he will get some solid financial backing. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
  • + 2
is this some sort of sick joke?
  • + 1
this is hurting...but i bet all of his frames will be custom hand made, just for him so the company looks good
  • + 7
Doesn't anyone understand how this shit works?? Jeezus, unreal.... The freaking bikes in the department store are a low end/high sale product. NOT THE SAME THING as the pro level bikes. For f*cks sake. Mongoose does the same thing and for some reason they got a bad rep for it, even though their high end rides were friggin top shelf performers. The department store line means the company has a SHIT LOAD of extra cash to play with, which means their high end bikes could end up totally sick, kitted with high end parts and sold cheap because they don't HAVE to make so much money on them.
  • + 1
The frame looks abit like an old Commi supreme but with a swooping top tube! Or am I the only one thinking that??
  • + 2
Surprised at the end when he went off the curb his frame didn't snap.
  • + 1
Nobody realized that he's the defending rampage champion? I bet Evil and Corsair did..
  • + 1
EC, Waylon Smith, Zink...who is Hyper?
  • + 1
He's doing allot of business with wal mart... seriously?
  • + 2
 Interesting.
  • + 1
 um.... yea this is awkward.
  • + 1
I hope they start selling his bikes at walmart.
