The Larock Gee Atherton vid was the most overrated Video of the Month ever- and now this? I'd rather watch Eastenders.

am i the only one that thinks that the dh frame (on the facebook page) looks like a sleak yakuza with a tapered head tube?

X-fusion used to be walmart too... so what if hyper is an "affordable" brand... whos to say they can't make a decent frame?

If I remember correctly, I don't have any correspondence in which to back my statement, but I remember CLEARLY having cheap ass x-fusion forks back in the day on my walmart bike... and yeah, I also agree with the statement in the video that if it wasn't for boxstore brands, alot of us never would have found our passion for biking b/c the good stuff is insanely priced if you don't like it.

EC said he consulting for their "high end" mtb division. They got the money/resources to probably make some great frames. Along with zinks sponsors, it should be good

Doesn't anyone understand how this shit works?? Jeezus, unreal.... The freaking bikes in the department store are a low end/high sale product. NOT THE SAME THING as the pro level bikes. For f*cks sake. Mongoose does the same thing and for some reason they got a bad rep for it, even though their high end rides were friggin top shelf performers. The department store line means the company has a SHIT LOAD of extra cash to play with, which means their high end bikes could end up totally sick, kitted with high end parts and sold cheap because they don't HAVE to make so much money on them.
