My favorite trip of all time, every year but one for the past 5 or 6 years....

If you're referring to this video it was shot by Matt Dennison, see above. If you're referring to my photos I was shooting with a Nikon D3s and a variety of lenses...

Ok, cheers !! Do you think I would gain much scope with the fixed 50mm f2.8 that I got, going wider with a 35-38mm ?

Well the more choices you have, the more options you have for shooting. If you want to stay fixed I would consider a 20mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm etc... And probably a 16mm fisheye at some point.

That's what I was thinking? Choices? The fisheye off the go-pro came in handy in Kefalonia, Greece in August, even though I only took a Sony A-200 with 18-55 and a 70-300 also...
The go-pro still shots were great on the beach, and in the sea, filming the island was awesome also...625km in 4 days in a 4x4 and 45*+ heat. 7hrs of go-pro footage, 2000+ still shots from the Sony and go-pro all in one week !!!
Would the 16mm fish eye have the same style pic like the go-pro? I love landscapes, flaura/fauna, wildlife and macro...I also fancy something like the 55-200 with macro, but with VR also?
Checkout my pics if you get a min on my D7000 folder, and my Kefalonia pics please, or on Flikr....my name being seadevil2011. I would love some constructive critism. I'm thinking of starting in a local camera club also with some old-school pros....After years of biking, I'm finding i'm going back and re-living the 80's with same areas in Wales, but this time armed with the camera also. Have you ever tried a D7000 and do you recommend staying down at f2.8 on all the above lenses mentioned? Thanks for your replys.
