In Memory of the RMX
Recap of all the footage i have on my computer with this bike. Until i snapped it. I got lazy with the editing near the end. Donate to my charity for a new bike because santa thinks saving up myself is a better idea. My dad wants to weld it back...

Let us all take a moment of silence for this of the Rocky Mountain RMX (2012-2012). This was not only a bicycle, but a companion in the world of freeride and downhill for Cole pattschull. This is a sad time in the human race and let us all respect this drastic incident.

Snapped my frame months ago, I was testing a jump on a trail me and my friend were building and found out if threw you slightly left straight into a tree
snapped right down the head tube, the first thing my friends dad said is to give it to him so he can weld it back together but I just don't trust that. Hope you find a new bike soon, I'm still hunting for the right one.

I don't trust it but i'm going to try and find some forums to see if anyone has and how strong it felt, and also whats the song? It sounds pretty sick.

why dont you just get a new frame? i fefinately feel ya with the boom or bam part but personally i think boom flowed a bit better

I'm thinking of a frame but the only part I really have left of that bike is the fork and I think buying a whole bike would just be simpler. I'm thinking of getting the 2013 status. Plus I could sell some of the stuff off the old bike. Ya boom sounds more fluid.

Hahaha no it just all sucks and wouldn't want to put it on my new frame. The rims are destroyed, the rotors are warped but could be fixed, bottom bracket is messed up, bars and stem probably wouldn't go well with the new frame, brakes are old saints and are decent but the shifter is a lever so too up shift it is also the brake lever, the rotors only work with my saint hubs. I mean it could work but I don't I'm still thinking of what to do. My dad wants too have this guy weld it back and he said it would be stronger than before but I just wouldn't feel safe riding it.

And my parents aren't really the ones too just buy me a new bike. My dad buys me dirt bikes he doesn't need to buy me mountain bikes also.

yeah same situation here my parents dont get involved with my bikes at all. you should check the costs of getting a new frame and maybe a few new parts though maybe. you could probably end up with a nicer build for less cash if you do it right

That's a shame man, those frames are one of a kind. Straight up the most wanted frame for many back in the day.........

Wow seriously? Never knew that I haven't seen really any for sale. The color was my favorite part

Yeah when they first came out, I wanna say 04-05, there pretty much wasn't anything like that and still not really. Wade Simmons going huge on one didn't hurt it's rep either. My LBS had one and me and my roommate used to drool over it like everyday. I agree with you on the color man, pretty damn cool. I hear what you're saying about getting it welded. I have a few friends that are welders and all of them say that it would be stronger but for some reason I just can't get myself to think that way. I hope you get a new bike soon man.
