Probably because other riders might get hurt without his technique and bike. Or to preserve the pristine view.

they broke the jump because they dont want to be that one responsible for letting someone else hit and having em die its over a water fall right so if you under shot the jump you would be pretty screwed

thats an old river gap hit had been there for years these guys just re built and poached. I had seen this in a few old school videos had no idea it was on burke tho.
