I know the trail and if I remember right that's the last section before the fire road and specially the line that most people avoid because of all the loose rocks. So dude is right is is no creek bed. I happen to love that line rather than the alternative to the right where there's no rocks. It's always a challenge even with a 7in travel free ride bike. Glad u didn't break ur neck and u shud probly get a new helmet after a crash like that. Props for even riding that line tho, like i said I know plenty of people that are too scared to even try riding down it.

haha thanks for setting him straight and i was mainly riding tht like for the edit on Wyatt's profile. i had only rode that like a few times before that and i came into it with wayy too much speed and launched a drop right into a rise.

yea and i mean from that angle and if you dont know the trail its hard to see the difference between that and an actual creek bed. although i bet after those couple storms we had it probly looked a bit more like a creek than a trail haha. it adds to the gnar factor....
when i ride that i usually come into it really slow for two reasons, i often forget its coming up and cant decide which line to take either the rocks to the left or the ruts on the right and once i do decide to take the rocky line you took i want to be going fairly slow at the top so i can find a decent route through everything since it can change from day to day and especially between rides. once i see kinda where im gona go i just sorta glaze the brakes to keep from getting out of control but i try to keep the braking to a minimum so that i dont accidently wash the fuck out or something cuz of all the loose rocks. ive noticed that sometimes ill get my tire onto a rock that looks solid and then it gives way and comes out of the round causing me to quickly have to rebalance so i dont wash out. its a tricky spot but after riding it good amount of times its my favorite spot on the trail.

message was too long haha
oh yea and anytime you crash and even if u dont have a concussion you should likely replace the helmet. sometimes the styrofoam will compact VISIBLY and sometimes you cant tell that its compacted. and since a helmet isnt too expensive (depending on what you buy) its worth getting a new one rather than finding out the hard way that you needed to get a new one. i.e. dead, paralyzed, broken bones, concussions or any of the other fun injuries we all seem to end up with.
i hope you destroy that helmet soon so that it can never be worn again by someone who doesnt know that its comprimised. kinda like cutting a craked frame in half so no one gets hurt by accident
we should go ride sometime, i cant ride anything like hitler right now since my neck is still healing but theres all kinds of good mellow single track around. hit me up and we can coordinate something

Oh yeah, because someone definitely cut and shaped that whole section. Point is, don't ride through creek beds.
