Screw these tires

Took the afternoon to do something I've been meaning to do for a while now. It's been below 40f in the city for about two weeks now, less in the mountains, and less-so in the shade. I saw Cam McCaul do this a few years back, and had some lath screws and miscellaneous supplies around myself. Song: What is Time, by Elephant Revival (conveniently the same duration as the video).

Once I finished putting the screws in, I wrapped Gorilla Tape to protect the tube, it's been working quite effectively. The grip is outstanding on ice, but in soft snow I chose too tight of a tread pattern tire for them to really get much bite, and the Rocky Mountains have a fair amount too many rocks to work well with this. It was fun, and is fun to rally on ice, but I'm getting a pair of Wet Screams this week to be my snow tire for the season.
