Facing my demons!... in Cwmcarn - Feb 2013

We're booked on the Gawton uplift this coming weekend... Andrew's ridden there once before but it'll be my first time... and seriously looking forward to it...

'Surface to Air' is actually at Aston Hill, Wendover, but I think one of the tracks at Gawton is similar!...

& I'm sure we'll be up for another uplift soon as you're sorted... no worries... have you ridden Cwmcarn yet?...

 My stoopid i meant "proper job". Done cwmcarn stupidly while there doing the loop without body armour or full face, still to have a full day at it.

Lucky gits!!! I'm so bored of hopping and crutches its a nightmare! Fracture clinic this fri for an update,possibility of coming away with just a padded boot Instead of a cast,everything's crossed but either way there's a good few weeks building my leg back up before ill be safe to ride again. Oh well at least I should be fighting fit for spring eh ?

Will be booking a fortnight in whistler shortly though to cheer myself up!

 I'd definitely recommend a day at Cwmcarn... as there's a lot to get dialed... lot's of sneaky lines... but would also recommend the full face - as there tends to be a degree of cwmcarnage amongst the uplifters... one poor kid crashed in the tunnel on Sunday and impaled his brake lever an inch into his forearm... sick stuff!... anyways... on that bright note... I hope you get some good news come Friday and are back on two wheels soon... and Whistler eh!... who's jelly now!...
