 From the looks of it, that's the first time you've watched an Isle of Man TT Big Grin
There's lots of good footage, including on-board on youtube. There are also great DVD's available.
It's the last great road race in the world! And I will watch it at least once before I die.

 if they invented the Motorcycle today they would not be legal...i am not a motor bike fan in fact they scare me....but i do respect the skill and HUGE balls to ride like these guys....i hope you get to go there one day brother

ive ridden 2.5 years a 1000cc yamaha.. i would give anything to ride like i did back then (less traffic on the roads)
but this.. this is insane.. Big Grin insanely awesome..

 Joey Dunlop dominated the Isle of Man tt, sadly lost his life in an Italian road race but still holds the record for the most races won. His nephews are stepping up to the plate now. Pretty sure the burning wreckage was the aftermath of one of guy martins crashes, he was ok after a short stay in hospital. Many haven't been so lucky. Riders, spectators and marshals often die here. Gnarliest road race in the world.

 Jeff its just plain crazy in my eyes.I know these guys are super incredible sportsman but i just dont have the balls for it hahaha.....i wouldnt like my child to do it thats for sure.What about old mate going over the cliff?????

 I think that was Connor cummins, broke a few bones but lived! They really are a bunch of nutters, none of them do it for the money, all for glory!

 those corners look so similar but go up one gear instead of down you is in BIG trouble! .... makes learning a GP circuit look EZ! lol never mind Manx weather conditions, biker friendly street furniture and the odd spooked cow/sheep in the road...Eek

 hahaha...my Mum actually sent me the email of this clip saying it was like there street.....never heard of the TT before,never heard of Joey Dunlop....infact,i have never ever been on a motor cycle before.....im not someone to scare easy but i am 100% scared of them hahaha...

 Indeed. More than 200 racers have lost their lives on the TT. To my mind, they went out in a blaze of glory and I keep a special place in my heart for all of them. I think I would feel the same if I wasn't a biker.
