Canon 5dmkii Raw Video (Watch Full Screen)

If you ever feel that a DSLR video camera is not enough for you try shooting raw video. When you shoot In a dslr on and everyday basis you will be shooting at a bit rate of 8 but when you shot raw the bit rate goes up to 14 bit. With the proper memory card this camera has the potential to shoot close to 4k raw video.

What frame rate did you record this at? Beautiful footage. May give it a shot on my 7d.

You may want to look for a faster card and make sure you are recording a resolution that is supported by you camera. The 550d usually supports up 840 by 550 or something like that. You need to make sure that your camera is set in raw photo mode and turn on fps override. It was frustrating at first but once you get it and understand the workflow it can be quite rewarding. And keep in mind this is in the early stages.

ya idk the work flow seemed to long and time consuming for my editing style and if i ever had money for a card i would spend it on bike parts. oh well does seem pretty sick though!!

yes i see but if you want to achieve the best quality video you have to have a longer workflow usually. And its better than spending 8,000 on a camera that would do this with no workflow. Thats how I looked at, but god luck if you end up trying it again!
