Episode 4: Thompson Okanagan
Episode 4 sees the Rocky Mountain Team headed into the interior to explore some history, some local culture, and some spectacular riding.
Special thanks goes out to all the clubs and trail builders who passionately build and maintain the trails we ride—and to the communities that we enjoy along the way!

everyone in kamloops always talks about how they can't wait to grow up and move out of kamloops but me I would love living here my whole life with all the different riding we have I'll never get bored of it.

It seems a lot people have that attitude towards their hometown. I hear it all the time about mine. If people only had more sense of adventure they would realize what treasures this (or any) city has.

I moved to Crested Butte CO when I was 16, for the Skiing, and learned to mt bike. Every local kid I met there complained about it and moved away. Now there moving back. Funny huh. I had to leave becouse Im getting married, but now I've discovered amazing enduro trails with 5000' vert and a shuttle right above pasadena. I guess I ended up doing the same thing... Really Funny huh!

I grew up riding in Penticton and started way back in the mid 80's riding rigid bikes on trails behind the marina on Okanagan Lake. We then "graduated" to the cow trails up on Campbell mountain. I can still remember riding Three Blind Mice back in the early 90's on my rigid Brodie Climbmax staring out over the orchards. The orchards are long gone, along with the rigid bikes but the views are still spectacular and the trails seem to have matured like the wine industry there. Great memories... as I sit here in Southern Australia wishing for great trails to ride.

Interesting that this video makes great use of Rio- a trail that is tolerated by the land owner, but could be shut down at any time. Its not sanctioned by the TNRD or the City of Kamloops, yet they use it here as a tourist attraction.

that's a real shame man because it's a stunning area and you really don't know what you're missing. there's a lot more to life than just MTB
