Havent updated anything? Ummm, any bike sporting flashy components and some crazy linkage is shit without good geo. Any bike period is shit without good geo. Konas have always nailed geo. Geo, geo, geo. Throw in reliable and predictable suspension and its really hard to f*** things up, really.

konas are awesome, not sure why they have such a bad rap. Finally traded in my 2001 stinky for 2015 carbon operator and damn....gotta love a kona

You aren't sure why? They didn't do any updates to their bikes for the better part of a decade. They even admit this, It's not like it's a secret. That said, they are certainly on their game these days.

ok, so they haven't changed anything, too me I don't care, but maybe that's just because I'm not a trendy on journey for better and fancier. All I was saying is that I've been riding my stinky hard for many years and i'm 225lbs. For me a good bike means reliability and I had that with a super old frame. I like to ride bikes.....I really don't care about specs and novelty of "new".
