So this must be shoot at some Innerleithen DH tracks? And also some from the EWS tracks? Kind of recall this from summer -14. Good stuff!

Yep, most of its in the Innerleithen forest but the middle bit is across at what was Stage 1 EWS 2014. Cheers!

What lens did you use for this? I am trying to get into filming with my nikon d3300. Any advice for me?

If you have the 18-55 kit lens you can do so much with that. I shot this on my Tokina 11-16 2.8 and it helps in the darker areas but the kit lens is so versatile, decent lens. There's a few shots on my Nikon 40mm 2.8 too. Semi decent tripod and a reasonable stabiliser are good ways to massively up your quality.

@HyperSquirrel: Right on that helps a ton! I am currently just shooting with my 18-55 but i am looking into a tokina 12-24mm but i was curious as to whether the autofocus would work with my camera? Does your 11-16 have the autofocus or did you manual focus?

@Andrewbotterbusch: Mine does, and the ones I can see around the web have a motor built-in, it should say on the buy page. I will say though, the autofocus on my 11-16 doesn't seem particularly good and I normally just manually focus it to infinity and its pretty sharp. For dslr video I would always use manual focus, unless the lens is super quiet the mic will pick up the motor kinda ruins the audio. Although mainly its because I don't trust my autofocus to get it right...
