Autumn Leaves
A shaky slippery ride in the nearby woods. Even though it was cloudy, the autumn leaves were glowing like gold. Mountain Station zone TNT, to Tiger Beef, to Legalize It. Song: The City's a Mess, Artist: Said the Whale.

DUUUUDE!! that was an AMAZING edit, now you have produced that level of entertainment we want MOAR!! top stuff, loved it..!
i have to have my chest cam straps so tight to stop the wobble it hinders my breathing, i might get some surgery to put a gopro mount fixing into my sternum bone..sorted..

Too kind sir! Yes surgery might be an option. Ha! I've been looking at GoPro gimbals on GearBest.com. That might also help. Or maybe be the trails are just too rough!

That was very fun!
TNT was technical, looks like a blast!
Tiger Beef looks like a lot fun, those drops look very good!
Legalize It looked technical too, man great trails and super cool names!

Yes this line top to bottom doesn't offer any time to rest and recover. You must be on it the whole way down. Especially now that it's wet from days of rain. A good way to stay sharp!

I love steep gnar. your sigh of contentment at the end of the ride. I'm feelin it.
thanks for showing the autumn splendor around your part of the woods.

haha. Yes! I like to test myself on the steeps when it's wet and slimy out. The thing with these woods is that it can either be like this or moondust. Either slipping or scratching your way to the bottom. When you get to the end unscathed you feel like you accomplished something, like maybe escaping death!

@conv3rt: I prefer wet to powder dry.
Moon dust is fun but marbles are nasty.
You keep the momentum going. You know how to ride in the wet stuff.
How long till the snow covers all the trails?
can you ride the lower trails in the winter?

Not sure exactly. We've had a few white moments in the higher elevations in October. Apparently some people have already been sledding (snow-mobile style). We keep hearing that it'll be a big winter so I'm thinking mid-Nov. Once it hits we usually get a good blanket right to lake level. There a quite a few fatbikers who stamp some trail out but I enjoy the break from riding and xc ski quite a lot. My passion for riding is renewed every spring and I just can't wait to get out and explore again. The cycle of the seasons! (pun intended)

@conv3rt:
throw some skins on some touring skies. Yes I could get used to winter if I could ski out my door.
lift access sking is too expensive for this dirt bag.
Heard Nelson has world class pow in the winter.
