when theres rocks involved, wear a full face. Saw some guy at the bikepark without half his face. He crashed and facebraked down a trail.

How can you go overboard on protection if it makes that we bit safer for you, id much rather were a full face and neck brace on any track

@GiantHuck: good man, id rather have a face left, i lack on elbow and knee pad, but always use my full face and neck brace for the past 2 years, i were a half self when im on jump my bike and i cannot get confident cause im worried about eating shit

Everyone as a kid thought it was cool the less safety gear you wore, I always wondered if there were people who wore full Knights armour because they valued their life so much. It's an interesting topic, I know I wouldn't care what my kids did, because I figure they'd learn on their own, and if not I could always pump out another.

Hey. Are you guys using zoom or prime lenses? If so how many mm? Also are u guys using auto focus or manual focus? Thanks

This was shot on a Panasonic GH4 using a Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 and a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8. Manual focus always!

@PeterWojnar: ok thanks. I have both those lenses on a canon 7d mark ii. And any tips on what the trick is with zooming?

@spencersteven: Honestly, I cheated—It's really hard to zoom and maintain focus using a 70-200, especially since you have to rack focus if your subject is moving towards or away from you. You could do it with a follow focus rig and a separate person in charge of focusing... or you can shoot in 4K and zoom in post (which is what I did.)
