Video: Aidan Horn's Riding Will Make You Second Guess Physics
Do you remember the phrase, "that's why they pay him the big bucks?". I literally never got blessed with any talent. Not any talent I want anyway. Then I slave away trying at things, and then it's like, "MEH, HO-HUM". I think everybody reaches that point, whether it's higher, or lower on the scale of mastering something.

Calibre Bikes Releases Affordable Dirt Jump Bike
Yeah, you're never going to out build the manufacturer. What I would do is buy a reasonable bike, then if anything is failing you, change it.

Pinkbike Poll: How Often Do You Replace Your Tires?
They take forever to wear out from my experience. Only really worn out a pair of Maxxis Highroller 2's. If you have a bike of not super great quality, the tires will likely out last the bike. Last time I changed my tires, I just swapped out Maxxis Hookworms because I wanted more traction. In conclusion, "you have to ride ALOT to wear out a pair of tires".

Photo Epic: King of the Kootenays - At Home with Kurt Sorge
I agree, much rather be Kurt Sorge than work in an office. If I could I would honestly run around dicking around in the woods 24/7.

Review: Bontrager SE4 2.6" Tire
Also it's laughable they went to 27.5"; then to 29". This is like a grade 1 research project, "WhiCh Weelz Sizes iS Bestest; By Timmy T. Pantaloons". Unbelievable.

Winner of the Fox Racing Prize Pack from the EWS Finale Ligure Fantasy Contest Announced
Congratulations Hoetz80! That's actually a sweet prize, I'm just so easily discouraged about odds, I don't even try. I saw a documentary about a lady who was the opposite of me, and she entered every contest available to her ever, and actually won lots of stuff, so who knows?

Good Month / Bad Month: September 2018
You know what I think Pinkbike.com needs to focus more on? Exercises that promote bicycling, like calf raises, or something to promote grip strength. Ali does a good job. I need bicycle specific exercises, so when I get on the bike I'm not lugging around a huge useless back muscle, useless mid-section with skinny legs, or whatever, or the wrong motion of strength(being strong in a useless direction for bicycling). And mountain bike specific, roadies all have strong legs, with no upper body. Like everyone knows, "push-ups", but that's pretty much a useless motion for bicycling.

I thought it was unheard of they just like, "dee-dee-deetle-deetle-dee" didn't address problems they were having, then came out with new products. Blew my mind.
