you weren't kidding about that pedal kick!

??
it does not say what gearing was used ...
but let's assume it is similar to what Antoine uses...
i can see the # get to about 13.7?
this is CONSIDERABLY less than the s-works enduro / yeti / niner / evil ......
so what was your point about kickback again??

@little-star: I don't like pedal kickback graphs because it's very confusing since there are different ways to show kickback (eg: using the ground as reference, or using the frame and using horizontal mode or not). Also, linkage has a small bug on PK graphs. On the image you posted Antonio simulated on a 50T rear cog. I used a 28T on the video. Kickback increases a lot with the size of the rear cog. Thus, I think that showing the Chaingrowth is much simpler and easier to make direct comparisons. Chaingrowth is related with kickback and it's just how much the distance between bottombracket and rear axle changes across the travel. In the graph bellow you can see that Marin has more 50% of total chaingrowth when comparing to Spec.Enduro and Nomad. Kona has less chaingrowth because it also has low anti-squats. The chaingrowth of Marin increases a lot during the travel and it reflects the same increase in anti-squat during the travel.
