How is my clavicle NOT broken?

The ONE day I bring my GoPro! I may be "the-lorax", but I do not like to hug trees at full speed while I'm biking. Usually I ride this trail on my DH bike. Boosted too far on my Ibis and nose dived onto the flats after clearing the landing.

I would say very lucky to be ok with that type of direct hit! FWIW, you might slow your shock rebound speed a bit if hitting jumps! I think I can see your back end rising a little too quick on vid, off most of the jumps. Maybe I'm wrong...

So I checked my rebound afterwards, and it was actually at the full minimum setting. It's hard to see in the video, but I was basically riding my front wheel, trying to get my rear on the ground and steer back towards the trail. Realized that wasn't possible so I slammed the front brake.

I do the same every once in a while...it's like my brain doesn't respond to "ok, now straighten out in mid-air:"
glad you're ok.

You can tell you're all American, in England they would be 'taking the piss'. All is normally good as long as things don't make a snapping sound.

Dislocated my shoulder (for the first time) but was able to pop it back in myself, bruised clavicle, and swollen/stiff neck. The way I hit that aspen tree, I'm super lucky I didn't break my neck.
