Your Brain on E

This is your brain. This is your brain... on E. Welcome to the Remote CTRL, Kona's brand new electric mountain bike. With the E (electric) craze taking the bike world by storm, we wanted to see Graham Agassiz's skills put to test aboard the new bike. The results? We think they're mind-blowing. Any questions?

You can see it coming this slow motion train wreck called ebikes. Its going to ruin mountainbiking. Its going to create a " if you cant beat them join them" phenomenon. We already see it. There is no reason these things should propel you faster than 10mph. This just make the huge electric battery companies so ecstatic. You are watching the beginning of the end. The companies see $$$$$ because now you dont have to be fit to mountain bike. That means more people can do it which in turn means $$$$. Disgusting.

Im totally against them being on trails and if they aye they should only be allowed on multi use moto trails.

I keep asking myself each time pinkbike posts e-bike stuff “am I done with pinkbike?”. It’s an electric motorcycle branded as a bicycle. It’s that simple. I really feel that this is a case of pinkbike telling people what to like. Chasing the advertising dollars.

Even Aggy can barely get that dirt bike off the ground.

Ever watch Sam Pilgrim on youtube though? He transitioned to ebike sponsorship and is pushing the limits with his.. Backflips, 360's, barspins, etc. Bloke has a lot of fun riding it.

Like it or not them things are here to stay. It reminds me of the beginning of snowboarding. Every skiers hated them. Not a fan for now but they’ll get better and I’ll get older...

No thanks I just spent 5k on something specifically not to have any kind of motor.

Uphill at 30km, jumping roots, clearing gaps...FUN doesn't start to describe it. I'm not ready to buy one yet, but I see why they are getting more and more popular.
