I do think it is uncool that they are riding on unsanctioned trails in some of the clips, I've helped maintain a couple of those and don't think Kona has ever given back to those trails, I am sure Kona gives backs to other trails and wish they would only film on those, should be an unwritten rule in the mtb industry that if you film on trails (especially for advertising) that you give back to those trails, my 2 cents

Kona is a sponsor of Boogieman/Boogienights through the NSMBA TAP program. Unsanctioned trails are just that, unsanctioned. No permits would be issued to any brand/company/individual, so Kona or their employees can't really get involved with working on unsanctioned trails in an "official" capacity...
