Forgive me if this comes off rude. But it seems like this trend in MTB edits of adding so much drama like - over production is taking away from the feel of riding your bike. I know how hard it is to film single track DH lines without a drone or just POV footage. But the over dramatic stuff is just meh....in my opinion. No disrespect to the camera crew and editors. I know how hard you guys work.

I agree. There seems to be a lot more drama than riding.

totally agree. but maybe its because its more and more difficult to show outstanding riding, you can watch tons of VOD material every day. so you have to add some drama...

I read your comment and rewatched this film, there are around 32 seconds of riding footage in this 1:54 long clip. It's more a helmet floating in a cave/B-list horror film than a mountain bike video.

I thought It was good tbh, I like creative film making with riding mixed in. I mean we all know the main reason that bike companies commission videos like this is to help sell their products, so I'm not surprised they had a few seconds of the video showing off the new helmet.

Or maybe the cameramen really likes the face of the rider!

That was a great intro to what could be an amazing video....

I love it, an interesting idea and approach to video, not just a typical shredid. Lots of work done here.
