lol, get the video started when both wheels are on the ground, and try doing a long manual.

im a pretty fat guy and i get tired easy.hahaha even if im doing a manual..i also have slight back problem from doing a silly drop to flat last summer

hahaha your not that fat.
and i can see how that would get in the way. i just applied for a sponsorship today!!! woot woot lol.

which sponsor? thats awesome.. lol do you think some brand names will sign up an asian guy that sucks at DH and FR but can only wheelie and manual his FR bike? lolol

hahahah that is a tough one, and i signed up for evomo, six feet bellow clothing ltd. and monster energy.

hey bill, when you signed up for loopd, did u have to do a parent consent form? cuz i put in my birth date and it says i need one..even though it says for 13 and under

your manuals are pretty sick. especially for a big bike. give me motivation to try and practice.

at first i couldnt really do it..all i did was wheelies (boring)..so i stepped it up a notch and kept practicing the manual..and after couple months or so i got the hang of it! yay!

Oh thanks for the glimmer of hope. The only way I can get close to manualing is to wheelie, lean far back and manual for a really short period of time.

yea..and i watched a ton of how-to videos..so that really helped.. oh and i also practiced pumping the bike w/o the front tire actually in the air..u know what i mean?

yeah I know what you mean. the bike i mostly ride on street (maverick) is really hard to wheelie or manual, i have to stand up while wheeleing that thing because it is crazy hard to wheelie it sitting down. The geometry leans forward, a lot.

oh well thats sucks i guess.. even though the bighit is cheap, it still has a great geometry and strong frame..

hahaha. stand up and wheelie? you mean catwalk? i started out that way and learned to sit down. oh yeah. if you go faster, you have more balance, so make sure youre going at a constant speed first

i guess when youre trying the lift the front wheel up you have more power pushing the cranks down while standing..sorta same for me in the beginning. when i saw this video of ryan leech's wheelie tutorial he said to slam the seat way down..i did that and i ended up having noo power to lift up the front wheel..but im a pretty tall person so that would probably be the reason why

the reason why i have to put my seat very high is because my maverick's geometry is not made for what i'm doing haha. I guess it is different for everybody and different bikes.

haha sweet. yay for street on XC bikes! i treat my hardrock like a dj bike. i also realized today that the stiffer the suspension is, the higher you can jump
