f*ckING ASS HOLES! you guys have put so much work into making these jumps and there just going to bulldose it? thats a punch in the face! if there going to make a bike park any why dont they just make that a restered bike park? thats pisses me off...

Dangerous for little kids!?! School yard is dangerous place with all them swings and sht, just use the same ideology, bulldoze them. Roads are very dangerous place for kids and joggers too, effin bulldoze them. And winter, dangerously slippery, bulldoze the winter I say!! Just bulldoze the cityhall too when your at it.. hmm that sucks. i guess the thick forest here aren't that big a deal because people are more centred around downhill and freeride. you should make a petition to get the city to allow you to build the park and they just licence it. thats what this guy named jay hoots did here and now we have too parks. the cities complaint was that they didnt have time to worry about that so a bunch of local riders just said they would do it

typical bureaucratic bullshit god forbid they build a nice well built sanctioned park for the youth to enjoy.
the city built a nice dj park near my house and then they close it every so often and it sits locked and pitted for months. people have no idea about our sport and they just think about injuries and lawsuits.

We also had a awesome dirt park on a perfect place, almost in the woods, only about 100 m. away from the beach, and close to a airport and many times we saw those planes that go in circles and up and down and all, always calm weather and nobody there to disturb us.
One day we arrived and saw 2 bulldozers that already ripped apart the wallride that took many hours to build and said they we're going to build a college there but that's the most stupid place to build it, there was plenty of area next to the park that they could build on and the airport was so close.. Imagine taking an exam before graduating and having a jumbo jet flying 70 m. away from the calssroom... I've been pissed to the city all since.. Been trying to get a license for a new dirt jump for a very long time...

No sorry, that was before we discovered that filming and taking pics was fun. You know when we were young and always came to watch those "big guys" and only jumped on the tiny jumps ourselves

I don't see why cities (not just this one but mine too) can't understand that we're kids and we like to have fun and rather than being out on the street and doing something stupid, we like to get along and ride our bikes. Like, I can see why the are cautious about the saftey issues but there are such things as helmets and protection and most kids wear them. So I think they should leave us be and let us make the most of our childhoods (or beyond for others beyond their childhoos)

Goddamn government. Same thing happened to me guys. "Somebody could get hurt", well no shit but if the kids have enough damn skill to build something like this they should be good enough to ride it. So what if someone guts scratched or maybe breaks an arm? Nobody can get paralyzed off of a couple tables and a berm.

Yeah the lady at 2:45 - 3:00 probably doesn't even get farther than her house to the car, she doesn't even have a valid aregument. The jumps are in the middle of a big open field, what potholes? Joggers don't just run in open fields they run on paths. Just some dumb bystander interview to make the edit for their news channel I guess.

The joggers can go anywhere in the city but the bikers only have so many places to ride. Stupid lady!

that sucks,the city says they will build a city park but its very unlikely that it will be within the time they said it would.It's really dumb that they say kids can get hurt but they will build city jumps...what difference does it make?you can still get hurt,you can also get hurt at skate parks too.

And how is it dangerous for joggers.... its fucking piles of dirt. The only way you can get hurt there is if ur biking.... and not very mch.

you could accidently think the jump was actually the jogging path and it would just mean chaos from there

yes we have a park but london is an hours drive away, and note Mclennen park doesnt have much for progression, for the djs its a really small set u could use for a pump track then BAM 12ft high kickers with 2-3 foot gaps... alright if ur already at that leave but for progression go to Chicopee, cost 12 bucks but there are washroom, first aid, and food services on site...
