We do what we can.
Now about the north shore style riding. That's something I would really enjoy.

Well, there is snowshoe. But here are some of the trails we ride. Video isn't the best representation (I shot an produced it, for a documentary I'm thinking of doing). It's really quite steep, tech, not the most flowy (because it's so steep), and in some cases a few of the trails can be a continuous rock garden. Dirt is very difficult to find without hitting rocks. Vert is about... 1500 meters? It's natural, manually made, beautiful...

I'm actually a really tall and skinny dude. I wear every type of protection except for a neck brace. Only thing I don't like about 661's base pressure suit is the lame tiny piece of foam that 'protects' your chest...

go down to your local dirt bike store and pick up a core protector from them they are usually made out of hard plastic

Dude I live in the city/suburban area, dh isn't until hours away, no such thing as a local dirt bike store around here, like, literally. Where I live is like a dead zone for DH/FR.
But I see what you're saying. I'll actually just look for some kind of hard plastic or whatever. I just need to get around to doing it...
