Riders who had to qualify are at a significant disadvantage compared to the pre-qualified riders they had to focus their energies on piecing together a line that would get them to the finals. Now that they re in the time to build a second line is very limited. So most are frantically trying to add onto their original line in a creative enough manner to be able to take home a win.   Rheeder is the real deal. The kid has been sending it all week, and today's line from the finals gate is insane - he powers along the ridge airing everything in sight.  Semenuk transfer drop!!!!!! WOW
  • 35 1
That photo is a ripper. When I saw the one of Goolie pushing back up the Oakley Sender I think I made a small poo in my pants. I'm starting to think these guys have mental problems!

Out of a different angle of Semenuk's transfer drop fstatic1.mtb-news.de/f/67/1i/671i3627dv08/large_005_BM6I0700.jpg?0

I think it's more gnarly than the Oakley Drop.
  • 9 0
Semenuk has to have cut outs on his saddle to accommodate his massive nuts, that shit is crazy!
  • 9 1
From either angle - I no understando where he's going to land.
  • 2 0
Major props for their positioning over the Red Bull logo
  • 1 0
what time is it airing in the pnw and is it on pinkbike or redbull tv?
  • 2 0
Best photos yet, Semenuk for the win!
  • 3 0
abit random but ea should make a redbull rampage mountain biking game !!
  • 1 0
does anyone know what a nug is, its completely bloody baffled me, never heard the term before in my life!
  • 1 0
a nug is in reference to a nugget of gold i am thinking so they are comparing the pictures to gold
  • 23 0
Those are some of the best photo's I've ever seen! Major props to Cam Zink, true soldier!

No problem, he loves crashing Big Grin
  • 1 0
is he ok? Deity's page says, he may have broken his heel
  • 22 2
I have no words to describe Semenuk's huge transfer cliff drop Eek
  • 2 1
you can use "saint kaliss". It's a eastern quebec french expression, that's what i said.
  • 20 1
semenucks drop is more like a freefall. I predict parachutes in 2014.
  • 15 2
 Prediction:

1. Semenuk
2. Doerfling
3. Cam McCaul

(Zink to have a light off after nac flipping the canyon gap and not landing perfectly enough to hang on). I've got a lot of time for Cam Zink. He's not the kind of guy who rides within himself, if anyone can be said to be doing that at Rampage. He's a real rostrum or hospital kind of guy. Legend. Did you see how hard his head hit the ground on his 360 practice crash last time? If that happened to me, I would have never touched a bike again (not that I would have been jumping off the icon sender in the first place, mind).

I think if Fairclough rides and stomps his finals line he can easily get on the podium if not take 1st place. Also, looks like Rheeder's run has everyone excited around here, can't wait to watch later today!
  • 7 0
honestly i think everyones lines are way too crazy for anybody to be guessed as a winner. If every rider can complete his line then anybody could be a winner
  • 1 0
 @dirtjumper771 NAILED IT.
I want to start predicting based on pictures, but some of this is just so beyond the pale that I have no idea how to even begin a podium guess, much less how they do it.

This is already the best Rampage yet, and it hasn't got anything to do with manmade or not-manmade, or any of that... they are SO committed... and it freaks me out a bit.

CAN'T WAIT!!!
  • 1 0
Who is most consistent , this is bloodsport on wheels
  • 1 0
I think cam and tyler and anduer are getting podium. Don't know what order. They rode up in china and I forget where ever else for where the trail ends the. Went to Utah to ride. I think they have the advantage. But maybe semenuk will be up there cause he will put Steez into his run. But my money is on those 3 guys
  • 12 1
Holy cow! I hope Can is OK. That's a hardcore decision pulling the eject lever mid way over the canyon gap. I'm sure I'll never be in a position to have to make a similar one.

"The media is non-stop. Helicopters, TV announcers, Maxim girls, videographers, photographers... you get the idea" Maxim girls? We get the Idea, but you didn't get the pictures! BTW - Amazing Cam is alive!

Zink's drop in looks like the gnarliest I've ever seen. It looks like he is on a 89' angle.

dont usualy get to interested in this kind of mtb discipline / but f@ck me i cant believe just what i am seeing in these photos, these riders have skills and balls beyond belief, they are without doubt among the best extreme athletes in the world. So pleased i logged on to pink bike this week and brought this unreal event to my attention.
  • 6 0
Seems they have finally found a purpose for monster, building lips!
  • 3 1
Oi Cruikshanks! You've got the brakes the wrong way round on Semenuk's bike! Now if he doesn't win we'll know why!

Where is Gwin? I saw an interview with him last year in which he said he'd do it if he could, but he'd have to find something like Gee found because he hasn't got any tricks.

Anyway, he's sponsored by Red Bull and he's the reigning WC champ, he could definitely have got entered if he wanted. So where is he?
  • 26 0
 Gwins got the bar hump.
  • 7 0
I would say he wans to keep healthy for next year, if he doesnt have the tricks then why put your self at risk of anothey crazy race season next year.
  • 7 1
You dont win rampage doing bar hump`s. lol
  • 21 0
A huge bar hump on the canyon gap would be the raddest thing ever
  • 1 0
Well, he didn't ride at Hafjell at the last world cup because of a big gash on his palm, so I don't think he wants to be testing it out at Rampage.
  • 5 0
Zink bailing out at 80foot!! His legs must be rawtirion or something! Surprised he didn't really hurt himself there!.....
  • 2 0
Rampage, regardless of how cool other action venues are or what your stoke is, has transcended the whole deal imo. It is bizarre in the most fantastic way. Every year, the craziest, most impressive ever.
  • 2 0
I can't get over semenuks Huck. It makes me nailing myself last march on a 6 ft gap jump look pathetic. He s got the tricks and is obviously going huge. The man to beat

Ya sem is a real gamer. Look out for him in finals and slopestylers watch how he changing tactics for diff type of event. Big lines win, not barspin combos.
  • 1 0
will there be a replay on after it finishes as i will miss the live broadcast and i want to watch all the action as it happened?
  • 1 0
The best part is we haven't even seen lines by the claw and some of the others. It's going to be hands down, the biggest rampage so far.
